RecHero

You signed up to coach.
Not to run a logistics startup.

RecHero is the AI co-pilot for the volunteer youth soccer coach — the parent with thirty minutes of prep, no coaching background, and a field full of kids.

Less clipboard, more high-fives.
RecHero's home screen: Thursday's practice, a three-sentence summary, and today's coaching line.

Why this exists

Kids don't quit soccer. They quit bad experiences.

Most rec teams are coached by a generous parent who never got handed the tools. The plans online are twelve-minute videos and long articles with bad diagrams — everything assumes you sat down the night before. You didn't. You're in the driveway with a coffee.

Built for the 30-minute reality

Prep happens on the walk to the field. Every screen is designed for one hand, outdoors, in daylight — a phone at arm's length, not a laptop at a desk.

Fun is the promise

Understanding is the mechanism. Kids love the game more when they get good enough to actually play it — so every practice entertains and teaches, never one without the other.

Lifting up the coach

Not replacing them. RecHero hands the volunteer coach what the pros have — a season plan, real drills, the words to say — and lets them be the hero on the field.

"You're going to love it more if you understand it." — the coaching philosophy the whole product is built on.

What's inside

Real coaching, sourced — never made up.

Every drill, duration, and coaching line in RecHero traces to a real source: coaching-session transcripts, governing-body session plans, and a licensed drill library. When the library doesn't have an answer, RecHero says so plainly instead of inventing one. That's a rule, not a preference.

297run-ready drill cards — every one with the setup, the steps, the words to say, and the why
600+sourced coaching records behind them, from transcripts, US Soccer, and state-association session plans
11season goals in plain parent language, each with the exact line to shout on the field
U8–U15age brackets covered, each playing its game — 6v6, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11 — with its own rules
22practices in the pilot season — a real Colorado rec team's actual fall calendar, walked end to end
1tap to get back to anything. If a coach has to dig, we built it wrong

How it works

From your real calendar to Tuesday's whistle.

Tell us about your team

A short conversation — age group, your league, your roster, your schedule. RecHero resolves the actual rules your kids play under (yes, they're different at every age) and builds the season around your real practice dates.

Get a season, not a stack of PDFs

A full arc of practices that build on each other toward the goals you committed to — with the four fundamentals covered before your first game. Every session: arrival game, warm-up, activation, drills, scrimmage, recap.

Run practice live, one screen at a time

Tap Start Live Session and RecHero walks you through it — what to set up, what to do, and the exact words to say, read-aloud ready. One big button moves you forward. The timer, subs, and plan keep working when the field has no signal.

"Reds, you're defending. Blues — groups of three. Go!"

Bring them in — the words are written

Every practice ends with a recap in kid language that ties the day back to the season. You don't invent the speech. You read it, high-five eleven kids, and go home.

The session hub: Start Live Session, the schedule, and the headcount.
Your whole practice on one screen — tap Start when the first kid arrives.
RecHero Live: step one of the warm-up, with the exact words to say.
RecHero Live walks you through it — the words to say, read-aloud ready.
A drill card: the why, ages, players, time, equipment, and setup.
Every drill card carries its why, the facts, and the three-step setup.
Alex, RecHero's coaching co-pilot

Meet Alex

A coaching brain in your pocket.

Alex is RecHero's voice co-pilot. Hold the button and ask — "I need a drill for kids who bunch up" — and Alex searches the real library and offers a swap, right into today's plan. Alex knows your bracket's rules, your team's goals, and your season. And when the library has no answer, Alex says so instead of improvising: your kids deserve real coaching, not plausible-sounding filler.

"Your keeper can't punt at this age — here's what to do instead."

The philosophy

Rules we hold ourselves to.
